The Problem:
Stephen Salewon needed a visual identity for his album Love Someone Else that could reflect the emotional complexity and lyrical depth of the music. The challenge was to create a design that visually communicated themes of love, vulnerability, and duality while staying true to the artist’s soulful, introspective tone.
Proposed Solution:
“Intertwined” was inspired by the duality in Stephen Salewon’s Destination Unknown. The song includes contrasting lyrics like “burning desire—feels so cold” and “Monday morning—Sunday evening,” which reflect emotional tension and harmony. This duality is echoed visually through a blend of black-and-white and color photography. The identity explores how lovers become entangled in each other’s lives with a handcrafted aesthetic mirroring the idea that relationships, like art, are intentionally built—piece by piece, moment by moment.
